1. What happened to TxEff1? What about TxEff1 users?
We have discontinued TxEff1, but it is still AS3 and working with a lot of new projects that you may have. Also, the TxEff1 gallery is still available and working. The bad part is that TxEff1 is not compatible with TxEff2 nor FlashEff. However we do offer upgrades for only $ 39 from TxEff1 to TxEff2. To upgrade, log into your JumpeyeComponents account > Upgrades.
2. What's the difference between TxEff2 and FlashEff?
TxEff2 is based on FlashEff, and in fact, it is a limited distribution of FlashEff 1.0 Premium. TxEff2 limitations are described here.
3. Is TxEff2 compatible with TxEff1 effects gallery?
No, and in fact, TxEff2 is a totally different concept/workflow compared to TxEff1. What is similar is only the result. Everything behind that is part of the new architecture. TxEff2 is much more productive, easy to use, fast in performance and low in file size.
4. Can I upgrade to FlashEff if I get TxEff2 first?
Yes. Anytime, after you order TxEff2, log into your JumpeyeComponents account (the download account) and under my account>upgrades you'll find the upgrade to FlashEff at about the difference between TxEff2 and FlashEff.
5. Do you have a trial/demo version? What about samples?
No. There was a FlashEff 1.0 free version available, but since FlashEff moved to version 2.0 this is the free version that can be tested. However, TxEff 2 is based on FlashEff 1.0 not on FlashEff 2.0, meaning that testing FlashEff 2.0 will not give you an exact clue about TxEff 2.
6. Why should I get FlashEff 2.0 instead of TxEff 2?
TxEff 2 is based on FlashEff 1.0 which has just been discontinued and replaced by FlashEff 2.0, a much more powerful tool that includes and overpowers both FlashEff 1.0 and TxEff 2. Check out FlashEff 2.0 here: flasheff.com
